The industrial economy in the Pacific Northwest started at the ocean with the creation of the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, adjacent to Bremerton in Sinclair Inlet, in 1891. The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard was the first dry-dock and repair facility in the Northwest capable of handling large ships. Recognizing the need for additional shipyards to build & repair vessels entrepreneurs established shipyards in Seattle (Todd Shipyards) and Portland (Kaiser Shipyards) that provided quality employment opportunities and an industrial foundation to the local economy. This marine industrial economy has been complimented for over 100 years by the aerospace industrial economy that traces its roots to creation of the Boeing Airplane Company in 1916 by William Boeing.

"
Gregory Kovsky was referred to me by a business appraiser because he had past experience in my industry. Along with this, his great referrals, all around business knowledge, confidence and calm demeanor made me feel comfortable enough to choose him to broker my business. During the sales process, things can get a little stressful and Gregory always seemed to be available to answer my many questions to help put my mind at ease. When Gregory gave me advice, he always backed it up with reasons why he was advising me that way and I really appreciated that.
