The #1 goal of our clients is to sell their businesses. In accordance with that goal, IBA is willing to co-broker the sale of our exclusive listings and share commissions with any real estate broker that possesses an active real estate license for the applicable state provided the following four things occur:
1. The real estate broker makes first contact with IBA regarding the listing. No co-brokerage commissions will be paid if the potential buyer contacts IBA directly about a business prior to involving the real estate broker desiring a co-brokerage commission. Attorneys, accounting professionals, and consultants are always welcome in transactions as members of the buyer’s transaction team.
2. The real estate broker and their buyer client hold all information relating to that business being offered for sale in strict confidence.
3. The buyer’s broker participates in all meetings & facilitates all activities related to their client.
4. All negotiations are conducted in an ethical and professional manner.
